FormSnake LLC (“FormSnake,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the website formsnake.com and the FormSnake platform (collectively, the “Service”). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, and disclose your information when you use the Service.

When you create an account, we collect information provided by your OAuth provider (such as Google or Microsoft), which may include your name and email address.

Form Data

When you use the Service to complete government forms, you provide personal information that is entered into those forms. This may include names, addresses, dates of birth, Social Security numbers, and other personally identifiable information (PII) required by the specific form.

Payment Information

Payment transactions are processed by third-party payment processors. We do not directly collect or store your credit card numbers or bank account details.

Usage Data

We automatically collect information about how you interact with the Service, including pages visited, features used, browser type, device information, and IP address.

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
• Complete and validate government forms on your behalf
• Generate filing packages containing your completed forms
• Process payments and send transaction confirmations

4. Data Security

We take the security of your data seriously. Sensitive form fields (such as Social Security numbers) are encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM encryption. All data transmitted between your browser and our servers is encrypted in transit using TLS. Access to personal data is restricted to authorized personnel on a need-to-know basis.

While we implement commercially reasonable security measures, no method of electronic storage or transmission over the Internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.

5. Data Retention

We retain your form data and account information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us. Upon account deletion, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law. We may retain anonymized or aggregated data that cannot be used to identify you.

6. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with third-party services that have their own privacy policies:

• Authentication providers (Google, Microsoft) for account sign-in
• Stripe for payment processing. Stripe sets its own cookies on its checkout pages — see the Stripe Privacy Policy.
• Microsoft Azure for hosting, data storage, and application performance monitoring (Application Insights). Azure Application Insights collects request, dependency, and error telemetry but does not collect form-data values.
• Google Ads (when configured) for measuring conversions from advertising campaigns. The Google Ads tag fires only after a successful purchase and is used solely to attribute ad spend to completed orders. See the Google Privacy Policy.

We encourage you to review the privacy policies of these services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third parties.

7. Cookies and Browser Storage

We use session cookies that are strictly necessary for authentication and the functioning of the Service. These are automatically deleted when you close your browser or when your session expires. We do not place any third-party advertising cookies until after a completed purchase, when our Google Ads conversion tag (if configured) fires once to attribute the sale to an ad campaign.

The Service stores small, non-identifying values in your browser's session storage (cleared when you close the tab) to prevent duplicate analytics events from firing on page reloads.

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate or incomplete information
• Delete your personal data and account
• Export your data in a portable format

9. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by posting the updated policy on the Service or by sending you an email. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of the revised policy constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
